Hey guys! Kelsey here from Whole Life Nurse. One of the biggest struggles I think Nurses have when it comes to negotiating is that they struggle to know what their counterparts are making. I teach a lot about this in my "How To Negotiate as a Nurse" Course, but it's discouraged to share income and there's reason for that: some nurses are making a LOT more than others for multiple reasons! It mostly comes down to how they negotiated. One of the most powerful pieces of "evidence" that you can present to support your case for what you ask for from a hospital is what other nurses are making both at your hospital and the market around you.
